Okona is a web platform that hosts Unity WebGL games playable in the browser, where players use their smartphones as game controllers by scanning a QR code. Our service includes the game catalog, phone controller interface, developer tools, and subscription features. No downloads or additional hardware are required to play.

User Accounts

Some features of Okona require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable Use

Subscriptions and Payments

Access to games on Okona requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. All prices are listed in US dollars and may be subject to change with notice.

Developer Terms

Developers who publish games on Okona retain ownership of their game content but grant Okona a license to host, display, and distribute their games on the platform. Developers are responsible for ensuring their games comply with our content guidelines and do not infringe on third-party intellectual property. Revenue from subscriptions is shared with developers according to our payout terms, which are based on player engagement metrics.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the content of third-party games hosted on our platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Okona shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
